KR: Introduce yourself

PZ:  We’re Peelander-Z from Peelander Planet to see your smile. We wanna see your small arshole. [Kengo-vo, K.O-guitar, Kazuki-Drum. -ed-]

KR: What is the meaning of Peelander?

PZ: Peelander is to make friends in Peelander Planet.

KR: What's the best place you guys have played so far?

PZ: Your bed with you, remember last week? [laughs]

KR: So what’s the worst place you’ve played?

PZ: His {Mangteacher} bathroom [laughs].  We love all places in a different way but winter time I wanna go South and summer time I wanna go North. If orange I wanna go west side.

KR: Orange?

PZ: California. If we want to eat lobster we wanna go East.

KR: You have any funny stories from your tour?

PZ: One like people want to do the interview, but they cannot do it in 2 years, The interviewer’s name is Karaterice (laughs). That's a funny story? They say ‘I really want to do an interview’ and I say ‘No problem, we are friends and we have time, no problem, no problem, no problem. Almost two years, that's a problem!’ [laughs]

PZ: We played Denton, Texas, and of course we played very nice show, pretty show with audience, they love my small asshole, finally after the show one guy ‘you like wrestling?’ and we say ‘We love wrestling’ and then ‘I wanna introduce you some wrestler ‘ he said, and then he introduced me. The wrestler is kinda very famous wrestler, we are so happy.

KR: Do you remember the name of the wrestler?

PZ: No [laugh]. He’s not famous but he’s very famous in our place. Last spring I saw him in Tokyo.

KR: An American wrestler?

PZ:  Yeah yeah because he played in japanese wrestling in there and then I saw  ‘Wow! Crazy guy” and then I met him in Denton and he said ‘I love you guys, if you wanna see my show, its free always. No problem, no problem’

KR: How long does it take for you guys to make music? And what’s the process?

PZ: When we go tour it’s very hard, to drive hard, to play hard, to stay in people’s house one month, two months. We have so many stories and then we want to say ‘WHAAA.’ We want to say something WHAAA WHAA WHAAA. And then we got a new song, always [laughs] That's why, after tour, we want to do recording. This is true, all song is during tour we decided. Because last tour he (K.O) eat a lot nuts. Nuts nuts nuts. Kutte Bori Bori and then I recorded it like this his voice. Ok ok say that again ‘Nuts Nuts Kutte bori bori bori’ and then I made new song “Nuts Nuts bori bori bori bori” [Laughs]. It is true.

KO: Ah, laundry too

Kengo: Yeah, laundry too.

KR: So this new album “Happee Mania” is based on your last tour?

PZ: Yeah yeah, all the songs, all the songs.

KR: Why is the title ‘Happee Mania’?

PZ: Because we’re smile collector. We have Japanese kimono called hapi. So it’s hap-peelander. Happy Happy!

KR: If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

PZ: Panda. But panda is black and white that's why I want to change yellow and black and the backside rainbow, and a tattoo, japanese tattoo, dragon and cherry blossoms. How do I say… yellow panda bear.

KO: ahhh I don't know, fish?

KR: What kind of fish?

KO: Maguro [laughs] Tuna sashimi, red one.

KR: You want to be like fish, as in animal or food?

Kengo: He (KO) doesn't have a girlfriend right now, he’s kind of dry [laughs] He wants to be wet! That's why! [laughs] Please help him! Rescue him! [laughs]

Kazuki: Cat, easy to read.

KR: What kind of cat?

Kazuki: Doesn't matter

KR: Street cat?

Kazuki:  No, no street cat. I’ll be a pretty one [laughs]

Kengo: Cat food is very expensive right now. We can eat, with rice always. Very tasty and very expensive. Sometimes organic. Yeah we eat them at tour [laughs]

KR: Tell me a story with “panda”, “banana” and “medium rare”.

KO: Medium rare panda pad thai banana [laughs] I just had Thai food.

Kengo: One guy has a very tough banana, never sleep, very sexy, and then one pretty panda want to make sex with that guy, his name is Kotaro okay? [laughs]. Peelander has a very tough banana okay? So she worry about disease cause he has so many girls so okay ‘get the condom please?’ The pretty panda said ‘I don't like raw, tough banana’ you know what I’m sayin, he says ‘okay, don't wanna do raw one?’ and he says ‘how about medium rare?’ [laughs]

KR: Why Peelander Pink always hold a flashlight?

PZ: Actually, everybody can’t see the bowling place, bowling pins, because we do it on the floor, and then without light, we cant see, if she has a flashlight, we can see.

KR: Who designs your costumes?

PZ: I told them it’s not costume! That's our skin. How do you design your skin? We were born this way. And Pink is checkin everybody’s small assholes with flashlight [laughs]. She is king of kinky, don't you think so? [laughs]

KR: Where exactly is Peelander planet, and how do we get there?

PZ: That's a good question. We say we come from peelander planet, but it’s not a place. Its kind of a 7^th  dimension. We don't have an apartment here, we come from there everyday, in three minutes [laughs]

KR: Can we go to Peelander Planet?

PZ: Some people can go with me because they can feel Peelander planet.

KR: When your not doing the band, what is your day job?

Kengo: KO is a stripper on Christopher Street [laughs]. Kazuki is a model.

Kazuki: Underwear model.

Kengo: I’m an assistant of Copperfield. David Copperfield! Main assistant of David Copperfield.

KR:  You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your friend’s nose. Is this true?

PZ: [Kengo takes my mucus and boogers and then he eats everything. That’s his answer. We were considering suing them for this but then he said only love one can do this so I guess it’s okay –ed-]

KR: What is your new album like? How is it different from your older ones?

PZ:  Our song, all the same [laughs]. We have Riceball song, Riceball-Z. A Spanish song called Me Gusta Lucha Libre about how much we love wresling. If you wanna learn Spanish, you have to hear that song.

KR: Who’s your favorite Mexican wrestler?

Kengo: Pandita

Kazuki: Dos Caras

KR: Who’s sexier Karaterice? Manga Teacher or Mar Galo?

PZ: Of course Manga Teacher cos we made a song about him in our previous CD. Don’t buy our last CD!

KR: Any shout outs?

Kotaro: Don’t eat second day sushi. 

Kazuki: Please bring your old toy. Don’t throw away.
