Many thanks to all those who came out Saturday night and rocked long time. We had 4 awesome bands (Fan-Tan; Object; the Netherlands & Taigaa!), 2 surprise birthday cakes and a whole lot o' fun. When we planned the show we had no idea what an animal of event it would turn out to be but we gotta do this again!.
Shamisen virtuoso duo / jam band from Japan, Yoshida Brothers , will tour North America through the 2nd half of May. Quite possibly you've heard their music, which was featured in a TV commercial for the Nintendo Wii (see here ). Dates and Venues after the jump.
Not only is Poison Ivy League , who played at the last Kaiju Big Battel show at Webster Hall, is joining our tokyo pinsalocks show. But lead singer, Louden Noxious , is going to be the MC for the night. The rest of the show remains the same. More fun, more music, more awesome, same price!
